Who can apply?
Entrance into either of the GBTI Programs is open to all general college applicants. We are looking for applicants who have a love for science and creative thought.

How do I get accepted into a Bioscience Technology Degree Program?
To be accepted into a GBTI Program you must apply to either Athens Technical College or Gwinnett Technical College. 

Can I transfer credit from other colleges into the Bioscience Technology Program?
Athens Technical College and Gwinnett Technical College accept transfer credit from regionally accredited institutions for equivalent courses in which the student received a grade of C or higher.  While it is always up to the individual institutions to accept transfer credit, most other colleges and universities have a similar policy and award credit accordingly.

How long will it take to get my degree?
It typically takes seven quarters of ten weeks each – less than two years as a full-time student – to complete a GBTI Degree program.
